Ash(ton) "Cinna" Jacobs/Ashlyn "Mona" Jacobs (They/He when Ash, She/Her when Ashlyn) Ash grew up in relative poverty with their mother Holly who was dating a man that nobody could stand and their sister Amber. Holly and them eventually left home and moved to Louisiana to escape him after he became more violent and they eventually took on a job to provide for their mom. They met a man named Cinna Walters who would eventually ask them to use his name as their stage name for the few singing gigs that they did as protection. When Cinna and their mother passed away from collapse sickness Ash moved to the outskirts of Eddington and inherited a bar from a local older man named Beem. Lithe but with enough muscle to be able to move crates of booze or a dead body. Their legs are pretty long and they occasionally shave when they want to be extra smooth. They do not wear any facial hair. Their hair is basically black unless the sun hits it; they have streaks of silver starting. Their face has a few wrinkles starting since they are pretty much worrying about something 24/7, but they hold their age well for the apocalypse. They tend to wear either a white dress shirt with black slacks (cause their mom said it made them look handsome) or a black lounge singing dress (because it hides the fact they have no chest.) Timothy Rolfball (He/Him) Rolfball grew up in a large family formed by generations of mostly Italian immigrants in Chicago. (Yes, he is sterotypical. I can't apologise but I can ask for forgiveness.) He was a typical rich boy and had a long standing coke habit. He met a girl eventually named "Angel" who helped him kick it, but she mysteriously vanished after he proposed to her with most of his family assuming she got cold feet at the idea of settling down with him. Eventually he moved to Eddington once The Collapse was fully in motion and began to work for Sarah Kelly. Stocky (not really that short though) and relatively out of shape. Even though he walks for a few miles to get to Ash's bar every day he isn't the picture of health otherwise. His hair is thinning after almost sixty years of being trapped on Earth, but the dirty blond in his hair still hasn't quite gone grey or white. He tends to wear nice black suits with ties. Detailed Character Sheet (Doesn't have one yet but I may make one in the future for consistency.)
Welch Fresh He/Him Born during the collapse Fresh is a hunter, curator of pelts, and a man with a huge personality. He inherited his father's wealth after his death during a "hunting accident" and was quickly accepted into the upper class of Eddington. He is responsible for the security of the city and areas surrounding it. He loves hunting, women, cigars, and spending large amounts of resources on things that he thinks of that he can pay someone to make a reality. Artificially built. Fresh is one of the two biggest creators of augments now that Kelly is gone. He advertises them best by using them himself. He's the tallest individual in the city on account of his manservant Bacchus' death. He has an eccentric wardrobe, and is often seen wearing clashing patterns and colors. He's a purveyor of fine clothes regardless, and values his appearance almost as much as his weapons. Detailed Character Sheet (Doesn't have one yet but I may make one in the future for consistency.)
Vincent Violet He/Him (There are fics that refer to him as "she" or "they" but he only uses He/Him in present/current fics.) Born on a farm and eventually led to wandering following his parents death, Vincent is a man who truly started to live once he got to Eddington. His life as an adult actor is one step removed from being a front; he's still searching for his sister Svetlana who went missing when the two arrived to Eddington. As much as he loves his work and the fact he was only able to begin living in his ideal body after entering the city, he want smore than anything to have closure related to her disappearance. Vincent cares more about his appearance than he does about most things. While he isn't so focused as to be unhealthy with his habits, he does regualrly exercise and preen his body. He has enough muscle that he is complimented on it, keeps a tight waist, and ensures that his hair is dyed to hide the grey hairs that he has from worrying about things. His wardrobe is mostly filled with nice suits from Fresh, well-fitted button up shirts from local Gauche clothiers, and casual clothes that could easily pass as work clothes. The simplest outfit he owns would probably be a t-shirt used for when he is cleaning and doesn't want to ruin his nice shirts. Detailed Character Sheet
Cinna Walters He/Him Cinna Walters was raised by his father after his mother's unfortunate passing during his birth. The man tried to tame his son's angry disposition and gave him blue collar work to take out his energy. Upon turning eighteen he moved away so his dad could do things for himself again, something that Cinna always felt he took from him. He eventually began to work for Harrick after the man recognized that he had the attitude needed to collect debts and the physical form needed to scare people into paying. When he meets Ash Jacobs, he realises that he needs to change his attitude if he wants to be with them and tries his hardest to tame his anger on his own. Walters has freckles, red hair, and a frame that would fit most nightclub bouncers. He's lean despite the muscle he has from years of working on farms and ranches for his father. He takes good care of himself for the most part, but doesn't care much for shaving or plucking anything other than his beard, which grows in white; more than likely due to passing young, he never sees a grey or silver pop up on his scalp. He dresses casually to stay under the radar, and tends to wear one of three shirts that he washes in the sink after wearing. He's owned the same three pairs of jeans since he turned twenty and stopped growing for the most part. Detailed Character Sheet
Holly Jacobs She/Her Holly was raised Catholic, surrounded by over a dozen siblings, and with parents that treated her as an extention of their authority. She was raised to believe that loving women was wrong, lying was a sin, and that she would never be successful as anything other than a wife. Despite it all, she is gifted a scholarship to attend college in a different town. After a year or so at the school, she earns an internship with the town's local lawyer, Albert Tucker, and she meets her future life-partner, Ashley "Tyler" Bufford. Slowly she realises that her family didn't have to be in her life, and cuts them off; her friend and eventual second partner, Phillip Denver, helps her by letting them know that she was found dead so that they would never bother her again so that she can leave town and start a life with people that care for her more. After Ash's untimely death in a work accident, she is gifted with her child Ash Jacobs, who she cares for above anyone and anything else. When Owen, her at the time boyfriend (for lack of a better descriptor,) finally begins to catch wind that Phillip is romantically involved with her and she begins to believe Phillip no longer cares for her, she leaves town with Ash so that they may have a better chance to find happiness than she has had. Despite the fact her child Ash grows to be over six feet tall, Holly is quite short. She is curvy while not being heavy, and she has very long hair that she never willingly cuts. Her curls and red hair are easy to spot and it isn't until she has gotten into her late fifties that she begins to lose color. She tens to keep freckles year round, but has more when it's sunny out. Her wardrobe is plain with many cardigans, blouses, long pants, and long shirts filling her closet. She occasionally dresses up, but tends to stay covered out of a desire to rather than a compulsion. Until her death she keeps her golden cross and ring from Ash Bufford on her necklace. Ash Jacobs keeps it per her request after her passing. Detailed Character Sheet
Phillip Denver He/Him Phillip has the longest life of any other character in Pars as of yet. Originally raised in the midwest he was an all-American boy; he was the star quarterback, had two parents that loved him, and immediately signed up for the Marines when he was asked by a recruiter in highschool. He didn't let anyone know it was out of a hope and desire that he would be killed in action so that he could die for some greater nebulous purpose, but it was enough that everyone thanked and appreciated him. After heading overseas he received training and became quite accepted by fellow soldiers, including a man named Micheal who would eventually catch up with him in Coumac. He began to lose vision rapidly, and upon being sent for testing, was discovered to have a tumor on his occipital lobe that had begun to blind him in his left eye. He was medically discharged, but upon arriving home found nothing left for him; his parents had died during his deployment and his family stated that they didn't want to worry him overseas. He took a bus to a college town named Coumac Harbor to try and find a new purpose after having his easy ticket out of life taken from him. Upon saving enough to have a fancy office, he began the Phillip Denver Detective Agency and recruited some locals to work for him. Holly Jacobs, Matthew Hannigan, Brandi Williams, and Lyle Woodson all eventually aided him in uncovering a large conspiracy that threatened to swallow them and the town; they all fled in one form or another. He ended up in Georgia with his then girlfriend Holly, her partner Ash Bufford, Lyle Woodson, and Doris Woodson, Lyle's sister. Ash, Phillip, and Holly would successfully hide their poly relationship from Doris until Holly's departure with Ash Jacobs in 2026. Phillip, unable to picture living without Holly or Ashton, he let life take him. Doris, unsatisfied with his death, brought him back with experimental procedures that would eventually be used in Eddington for her Lexingtons. Stuck with her to continue living, Phillip is made her head of security in The Gauche and the head of her gang of androids.
